CINCINNATI COMMIT OPENS UP RECRUITMENT

Danny McElroy committed to Cincinnati just after his sophomore year of high school. However, not much has been heard from the La Salle junior of late. La Salle and coach Cronin have a tight relationship as Hep Cronin, father of Mick, is on the staff at the school and was a long time coaching legend in the Cincinnati area. The decision to part ways was mutual between the UC staff and McElroy is not Set on UC (Cincinnati Enquirer) any longer.

McElroy averaged 14 points and 7 rebounds as a junior and the 6'7 forward, along with La Salle head coach Dan Fleming and the Cronins believed opening up the process was best for all parties.

It would surprise us if McElroy ended up at a Big East-level school when it is said and done.
